Dragoncat 1 Launch Success, a Promo, and Slight Delays for the Sequel

I wanted to thank everyone for an awesome launch for A Cat’s Guide to Bonding with Dragons. The book has done exceptionally well, and it’s the first time I’ve had a book enter the Top #1000 Kindle Books on Amazon.

I saw it reach Rank #808 in the Amazon store, gain the No #1 Bestseller tag in many Amazon categories, and it’s still got that #1 Bestseller tag in a couple of categories as I write this. I’m incredibly grateful for all the reviews and the feedback I’ve received on the book. So thank you again for helping make this launch such a great success.

I’m still giddy about it, really :).

If you’ve not had a chance to pick up A Cat’s Guide to Bonding with Dragons, I’m raising the price to full-price at midnight tomorrow (PST), but it’s $0.99 until then.

$0.99 until 15th Jan

Also, to show my appreciation, I’ve put all the Dragonseer books on promotion.
You can currently get Dragonseer, Dragonseers and Bloodlines, and Dragonseers and Automatons for $0.99/£0.99 (or currency equivalent) for the next 7 days:
If you’d rather read the boxset, I’ve reduced Dragonseers and Airship to $1.99/£1.99 (33% saving on getting all three books separately), again for the next 7 days:

Unfortunately, I also have a bit of bad news. A Cat’s Guide to Meddling with Magic is taking longer than I thought, and I’ve had to make a tough decision on it. I want to write a book that lives up to the first one, and so even though I’ve been tempted to rush it to get it out for the end of the month, I feel it’s better to put quality first.

Because of this, I’ve decided to delay the release date A Cat’s Guide to Meddling with Magic (Dragoncat Book 2) to 14th February. If you have pre-ordered, you should soon receive an email from Amazon confirming this.

I’ve also delayed A Cat’s Guide to Saving the Kingdom (Dragoncat Book 3) until the 15th March so I have time to catch up on that novel too.

The delay is largely due to getting sick for a couple of months at the end of 2020. But I’m much better now, and I have much more energy.

I apologise immensely for this and any inconvenience this delay might cause.
